Plainly, and shorter than most.
1. Who provides the service
Magic Mirror – Mirra ("Mirra", "the app") is provided by Jan Horák, Prague, Czech Republic. Contact: hello@magicmirra.app. By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. What the service is
Mirra generates a short daily reflection using artificial intelligence, from a camera frame or from text you type, together with the preferences you have given her. She also offers one small suggested ritual per reading.
3. What the service is not
Mirra is for reflection and entertainment. She is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or diagnostic advice; she is not a medical device; and she does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. She is not a substitute for professional care, and she is not a crisis service. If you are in distress, contact a professional or one of the lines listed on our support page. 4. Artificial intelligence, and its limits
Every reading is produced by an AI model and can be wrong. It is a suggestion about your day, not a measurement of you and not a statement of fact about how you feel. The app asks you to confirm or correct each reading for exactly this reason, and your correction takes precedence over anything the model inferred.
Mirra does not comment on appearance and produces no scores, ratings or rankings. If she ever does, that is a defect — please report it by long-pressing the inscription in the app.
5. Your account
An account is created anonymously on first launch. You may add an email address so your history survives a change of device; if you do, keep your password to yourself. You must be 18 or older to use Mirra.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or automate access to the service, use it to analyse anyone other than yourself, or use it in a workplace or educational setting to assess other people. We may suspend an account that does.
7. Subscriptions
Mirra offers an optional subscription ("the deeper glass"). Purchases are made through Apple's App Store or Google Play, who are the seller — we do not process your payment and never see your card details.
- The price, billing period and renewal terms are shown in the app before you buy, and again in the store's own purchase sheet.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. The length and price are stated before you confirm.
8. Your content
Your readings are yours. We do not publish them, sell them, or use them to train AI models. You can export or delete them at any time. Anything you choose to share from the app is your decision — and your face is never included unless you explicitly turn it on.
9. Availability
We try to keep Mirra running, but the service depends on third-party AI providers and may be unavailable or degraded at times. Free accounts are limited to one reading per day.
10. Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you take based on a reading. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or intentional harm, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are shown in the app before your next reading.
12. Governing law
Czech law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence. Consumer disputes may be referred to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz).
